🎲 Pick Me!
Need volunteers for the next game? Say how many contestants you need, throw the QR on the big screen, and let the room dial in with their names. Hit DRAW and every phone spins through the colours like a wheel — then the chosen ones light up green, one at a time, counting down to the last pick. Everyone else gets a gentle 'better luck next round'. Fair, random, and a proper moment — with none of the awkward silence when you ask for volunteers.
🎤 How to host it
- Create a selector from /pickme. You get TWO links — the big board and your console.
- Cast the board to the venue screen and keep the console on your own device.
- Set how many contestants you need, and how long the join window stays open.
- Hit "Open joining" — the board shows a QR and a countdown, and the room scans in with their names.
- When you're ready (or the timer runs out), hit DRAW. Every phone spins through the colours.
- The chosen ones are revealed one at a time, counting down to the last pick — their phones go green, everyone else's says "better luck next round".
- Draw again for the next game (it can skip people already picked), reopen for latecomers, or start over.
📱 How your room plays it
- Scan the QR on the big screen and put your name in while the join window is open.
- Sit tight — when the host spins, your whole phone flashes through the colours like a wheel.
- If you're picked, your phone turns GREEN — that's you, head up to the front.
- If not, you'll get a 'better luck next round' — stay ready, there's usually another draw coming.
